PMD Species Swap Meme

I find that one of the most important things to do when designing a character is to make sure they all have individual traits besides accessories and markings; body types, face shapes, that sort of thing. A character should be recognizable without depending on what they are or what they're wearing, so this is a useful exercise to try with any sort of character, Pokemon or not.

So why not make a meme for it?

I think the point of this is pretty obvious, but just in case here's a short explanation: Simply switch the species of your team members!

Not all that difficult, huh? But the challenging part comes from trying to make them look like the same characters.
Will Sugarpuff the Skitty still be recognizable if she was an Onix? Would Blade the Scyther look like his scary old self in the form of a Wurmple? Give a shot, see what you can do with it. Good luck!
