Alright, this post has been a long time in a making, seeing how I stopped drawing new comics… several months ago, but I figured I should actually say something so people know what’s going on.

Long story short, the My Pet Vampire comic is taking an indefinite hiatus.

The main reason for this is because I’ve been dealing with some serious anxiety and confidence issues for several months now. The comic and drawing in general has become a huge stressor as I kept pressuring myself to keep producing more art and comic pages at a constant pace. I am hoping making an official message about this would help relieve some of that pressure so I can slowly work on building up art as a fun positive thing again.

The comic is definitely not dead! We got tons of spinoffs, sequels, a whole bunch of stuff in the making and there is years and years worth of content left. This project is a very personal one, which I have no desire to drop. We’ve barely even scratched the surface of this story.

But for now I just need some time to get my shit together before we’re back to a regular posting schedule. Sorry for leaving you guys waiting!

So I realize it's been a couple of months since I posted anything here. I have no excuse for this, I'm just a lazy bastard and I just plain haven't felt like socializing. To make up for this, I'm now going to spam you all with random art which I have been posting on my tumblr.

When it comes to the Ted comic... Honestly? I haven't been enjoying making comics, nor playing with these characters, as much as I did in the past. At this point I've basically officially quit PMDE and have no plans to continue with my teams. I might post the occasional doodle of them sometimes but that's about it.

Ah well. At least it was fun while it lasted!
